About the workshop

Surface water supply of Agra-Mathura region is uncertain, scarce and unsuitable. The underground water is highly saline with fluoride contamination and the salinity of order of 4000 to 8000 mg/l(TDS).Fluoride contents are in the range of .5 ppm to 9 ppm.In order to discuss the recent advances in the field water treatment, a conference entitled "Household Water Treatment Technology" is being organised. The conference would provide an excelent platform to the researchers, technologist and engineers to share their ideas and experiences in different ares of this field. The main theme of the conference is very vast and relevant in the present scenario which covers all spheres of technological advancements. The relevance of the theme is enhanced with a view that water polution has direct impact on society. Therefore, a number of sub-themes have been included to encourage wide participation.
